The EKO quality mark is only given to organic companies that Skal, “the inspection and certification body for organic production in the Netherlands”, certifies. Skal only gives this quality mark to products that are more than 95% composed of organic ingredients. If a product is undergoing a change to organic production, this is not enough to give it the EKO quality mark.
