The Tasmanian Devil (Sarcophilus harrisii) is a carnivorous marsupial mammal native to Tasmania. Its first known habitat was on the Australian mainland, however it is now extinct on the mainland due to the Dingo and possibly climate change. Their habitat is eucalypt forest, woodlands, and farmland. They are terrestrial, nocturnal and eat insects, mammals, and carrion.
