Although there are no reports of particular environmentalists’ endorsing a particular e-reader, they would probably like the Kindle 2.0 the best because it is the most energy efficient out of all the e-readers. However, all e-readers are eco-friendly by helping to prevent carbon dioxide emissions produced in book printing.
Well as far as e-readers go right now they benefit the environment by saving trees if they become popular. But so far e-readers aren’t environmentally friendly in their manufacturing and recycling. Paper is known to be recyclable in a number of ways after it’s prime time, but e-readers are not. They might not be the blessing readers are looking for.
