[It] creates and maintains the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, that permit the fulfilling of social, economic, and other requirements of present and future generations.” That’s a very expansive way of saying it is a mutually beneficial relationship between humans, nature, and everything in between. While defining “sustainability” is a necessary question, it is, of course, a mere beginning.
