The programs efforts all center around conservation. They monitor how many and what species can be found in the temperate and tropical forests of various places around the world: “Latin America, the Caribbean, North America, Africa, and Asia.” They work with people living around the forests, various researchers, and the governments and industries of the areas to ensure their use of natural resources is sustainable and doesn’t hurt species diversity.
