What does the lady bug do for the environment?

Ladybugs aren’t just pretty creatures, they are beneficial insects. They eat garden pests such as aphids, mealybugs, and mites. This is why most people even try to lure ladybugs into their gardens. Some gardeners have plants such as fennel, dill, cilantro, caraway, angelica, tansy, wild carrot and yarrow to attract ladybugs.
