what does it mean to have respect for the nature?

    To me, the ultimate respect one can have for nature is to recognized that it was there first.  Many natural landmarks you see around you have been there for hundreds, perhaps thousands or even millions of years.  The kindest thing you can do for the environment is to leave as small an impact on it as you possibly can.  That means doing all the little things that we so often ignore – keeping your trash off the ground and taking the time to pick up trash left by others, conserving water and energy by keeping your lights off and your showers short, opting to take public transportation or your bike for short, familiar distances, etc.
