    A chief greening officer is somebody in charge of implementing a company’s plan for reducing its carbon footprint and environmental protection.  The CGO is joining the ranks of the CFO and the CEO for as a top position in an organization.

    The chief greening officer (CGO) will be responsible for environmental stewardship, corporate communications, strategic partnerships and product development Their three main goals though are: 1 reducing organizations environmental footprint, 2, engaging diverse stakeholders 3. discovering new revenue opportunities. They help spearhead organization’s green efforts and help the organization as a whole move forward.
