What does beef labeled with “American Grassfed Association” mean?

This association promotes growing poultry and cattle for eggs, milk, and meat using grass diets (nothing except mother’s milk, fresh grass, and hay) rather than the common grain-based ones. The claim that research has shown that food from grassfed animals is more healthy in several ways. The association earns money from certification fees. In return, the certificate may make a product more attractive to consumers who view this as healthier food and will look for products that met the association’s standards.
