Well, they run on electricity, for starters, which, unless they are being played in a home that’s off-grid (uses electricity from its own sustainable sources, like solar panels), is bad for the environment. Besides the electricity they require to run, there is also the gas needed to transport people to factories, games to stores, and then games to your home, and the electricity all those places (like a Gamestop) need to stay open. Video games are also made out of plastic and metals that don’t biodegrade and require toxic chemicals to produce.
