What do I need to become a LEED inspector?

The acronym LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

In the last few years LEED certification has become increasingly popular among architects, builders, and construction businesses.  As of September 2008 there were more than 50,000 LEED APs in the US.

To become a LEED AP, or a LEED Acrredited Professional, one must pass an exam that details green building codes and techniques as well as specific LEED processes.  There are three rating systems within LEED certifications: existing buildings, commercial interiors and new construction.
