What do green groups do to survive during the recession?

    Green groups do what most other non-profits are doing: reorganizing, tightening, and focusing. However, green groups are in a better position than most non-profits in that Obama has a keen interest in boosting environmental groups as a means of boosting the economy. Mark Tercek, president of the nonprofit Nature Conservancy sees the recession as an important opportunity to connect the economic stimulus to environmental issues, as well as an opportunity to streamline organizations.
