Well as long as you don’t closely inhale gasoline fumes, fumes that you may inhale in a gas station or something like that are not that harmful to your health. The fumes that come off gasoline can cause intoxicating symptoms after prolonged exposure. Things like nausea, dizziness and vomiting can occur after inhaling the fumes closely or for a long period of time. These could lead to seizure and death, but not during a normal level of exposure.
