Brushfires can help get rid of vegetation that might become fuel for larger fires, while the ash created from the fires also help the soil, by giving it needed nutrients. The smoke produced from these fires can be dangerous to humans and animals and if not controlled can kill off necessary vegetation that prevent mudslides or feed the local food chain.
