Blue spotted salamanders pretty much eat insects and small invertebrate. Worms, spiders, snails, slugs, ants, centipedes; pretty much anything that is natural to their habitat, small like that, and easily catchable.
Blue-spotted salamanders eat different kinds of of small invertebrates. They prefer to consume slugs and earthworms in spring, and snails, centipedes, earthworms and rove beetles in summer and fall while they are on land.
