Its called, Hypertrichosis, and is not a disease, but rather genetic deformity. There are two kinds, general Hypertrichosis, in which hair grows all over the body and localized Hypertrichosis, in which hair grows in a localized area. Commonly misidentified as wolfmen, the affliction was first described in medical terms in 1648 and since only a few hundred documented cases have been substantiated.
Hirsutism is when women grow a lot of hair on the body. Hypertricosis is another disease where hair grows all over the body.
