What is different between sourdough and wheat bread?

Sourdough bread is made with yeast captured from the air. This yeast is cultured in a flour and water mixture as a starter for all sourdough bread. Wheat bread is produced, like white bread, from a standard strain of yeast that is added to the flour. The difference between white and wheat bread is the type of flour used, so you can have white sourdough or wheat sourdough.
