What is different between regular architecture and green architecture?

Green Architecture specifically aims to reduce the energy consumption of a building, and minimizes the impact of the building’s construction, upkeep and eventual destruction on the environment.

Green architects aim to do this by taking the surrounding environment into account. By doing this they allow the environment to help in the cooling and heating of the building, they are also quite careful about the materials which are used to build, making sure that materials have recycled content or are easily renewed, or both!
