What is different between propane and natural gas?

Natural gas is actually a combination of many gases found with fossil fuel deposits. Natural gas is primarily made up of methane, but is also made up of propane, ethanol and butane gases. Propane and butane are often filtered out at refineries and processing facilities because they are far more efficient than the other gases that make up natural gas. Propane burns cleaner and more efficiently than natural gas does and therefor is more expensive. It is also a more environmentally friendly gas because it burns so efficiently and with little emissions as compared to natural gas which can be very dirty and inefficient.
