“No glare” glass doesn’t reflect light the same way as usual glass does. In picture frames, it prevents any reflections and makes it look as though there’s almost nothing in front of the picture. They make glasses with a similar treatment (at least I have no reason to believe it’s not the same treatment). They apply a coating that counteracts the glass’s normal reflective properties.
