What is different about no drip candles?

They are designed in a way that places the wick in the exact center of the candle (at least taper candles) so that when they burn, the wax is absorbed by the thick wick and does not drip. Pillar candles are made with two types of wax, and the outer layer is thick and rigid enough that it does not melt when the candle burns.
