What is different about a chimps DNA and a humans?

There is very little difference–in fact, just 1%–but to be fair, a DNA sequence is so long that 1% can be a very large number of differences. Scientists have recently claimed that this may be the 1% that humans needed to be set apart from other primates, and this 1% deals with things like brain function, language acquisition, and hearing; aside from the obvious physical differences of course!
