PV solar energy and thermal solar energy are the two methods in which the Sun’s energy can be transformed into energy humans can use. PV solar energy, or Photovoltaic solar energy, generates electricity through light, and are used in solar panels. On the other hand, solar thermal energy concentrates direct heat from the sun to produce heat at useful temperatures for use in heating swimming pools, generating hot water for residential and commercial use, and even electric power production.
