What is the difference between a sun and a moon?

    The sun is a star in our solar system made mostly of hydrogen and helium as well as small amounts of iron, oxygen, carbon, neon and others. The sun is stationary and we (as well as the other planets in our solar system) revolve around the sun. The moon on the other hand, revolves around us.
