What is the difference between seaweed and seamoss

    Seamoss could possibly refer to a type of algae, and algaes are different from seaweeds in several ways, articulated in the link below.  However, I don’t know enough about marine plant life to be able to give an answer I’m 100% sure with.  The terms “seaweed” and “seamoss” are often used in different ways by different people, making a comparison between the two more difficult.
