What is the difference between the National Park Service and the Forest Service?

    The National Park Service takes care of just parks around the U.S. The Forest Service is actually part of the Department of Agriculture. They “manage public lands in national forests and grasslands,” so this is more like regulation of the lands that aren’t just public hubs (parks).
