What is the difference between a moon and a star?

    A moon is basically a satellite or something that revolves around something else. Interestingly though, there has been no clear definition of what size of a satellite constitutes a “moon”, and apparently no one is in a hurry to make a clear delineation.

    A star is a self-illuminating ball of gas held together by its own gravity in which the energy produced is balanced by the outflow of radiation gas-flow and inward gravitational forces.
