Burj Khalifa (formerly known as Burj Dubai) the world’s tallest building recycles the condensation from the air conditioning units to water the gardens that outline the building, approximately 15 million gallons of water each year. The developers utilized low emissivity glass and sky source ventilation, where cooler air is drawn from the top of the building, reducing the use of air conditioning and dehumidification. The building is also constructed with a monitoring system that maximizes energy usage.
