    It has only just been discovered that the Congo River in Africa, stretching from eastern mountains and highlands of Africa, down through the heart of the continent’s rain forests and into the Atlantic Ocean on Africa’s western coast. Recently mapped, scientists were shocked to learn that in some areas, the river can reach consistent depts of up to 750 feet or 230 meters.
