One type of cube garden is an aquarium that consists of glass panels attached with silicone rather than with more visible seams at the corners. They are considered more attractive by some aquarium fans because the lack of a seams at the corners makes for less-impeded viewing from all angles; of course you can expect a difference in price, too. The different types of connection between panes of glass is also referred to as “trimless.”
Another type of cube garden is a small cube planter, such as a small cement bock, which can be used as unique pots for succulents and other plants. These would be like miniature raised beds, and since they are open at the bottom you would need to take care in moving them once the plants are established.
