What is in a CSR report?

CSR stands for Corporate Social Responsibility.  The desired effect of a CSR is for a business to create a postive impact on society by using ethical means that concurr with the company’s mission.

These CSR reports are meant to make it easier for a company to track their CSR.  Denmark has now made CSR reports mandatory for every company.  It is the first country in the world to do so.

CSRWire.com is a site that allows anyone to access a company’s CSR report.  Most companies do this as a public relation stunt to “show off” what they do for the environment and society.  Nonfinancial data, code of ethics, and sustainability information is included on these reports.

Below I have included a link to a PDF file of the official CSR report form.
