What country takes the longest showers?

That data would be really hard to find, assuming anyone has ever done the necessary worldwide research and surveying. What we could check is the amount of water used per person at home – long showers will certainly affect this number significantly. Using data from year 2000 estimate by Pacific Institute, looks like Australia get the top spot with 510 cubic meters per person per year of domestic water use. New Zealand is second at 244, Armenia is next at 240, United Arab Emirates are 4th at 207, and United States close up the top 5 with 203 m^3/p/y.
