Arguably no car is green, all cars create pollution, even alternative fuel vehicles. Hybrid vehicles still use gasoline, and are in no way “green” or environmentally friendly. Even electric cars aren’t clean burning, because more electricity is still generated through dirty sources. All presently available biofuels pollute, though to a lesser extent than gasoline vehicles. There are some forms of biofuels that are carbon neutral, like cellulosic ethanol, that are still being prepared for mass consumption. Given enough time and investment this could be the clean burning fuel of the future.
