This question has no clear answer. Pretty much all tourism hurts the environment. Resorts must be built (which usually include golf courses and pools); people usually eat out, which usually leads to to more wasted food; attractions must be built; and then there is travel degradation (planes emit pure kerosene high up in the atmosphere). Asking which country is difficult. Places like Jamaica are pretty small, yet tourism is big. Places like Japan have mass amounts of people, which will obviously lead to more people traveling, and places like America are large in space and therefore hold more places for people to go. The real solution is to travel less, and to be smart when traveling. A suggestion often given is to have a staycation. This is where you stay close to your area and try to enjoy life by just kicking back.
