Of course, gasoline prices vary from region to region (particularly in large countries like the US), but according to this table from Wikipedia, it’s actually Eritrea at the top of the list at US $9.58 per gallon in 2009. Turkey’s not far behind, with the Netherlands and Norway trailing at just under $8 a gallon.
