Cork is a material made from the bark of the Cork Oak tree. The bark is harvested, allowed to dry for at least a year, then processed, cleaned, boiled, and cut into what it is needed to be used for. Most cork is used as wine bottle stoppers, but cork is also used in bulletin boards, flotation devices, and floor boards.
