I would have to say the Asparagus fern is pretty wild looking and feels interesting as well. They have feathery texture with stems 1-2 feet long.
One of the coolest looking ferns I have seen is the Northern Maidenhair Fern. They have a very interesting design and when you seen them in large numbers, all right next to each other they make a very different looking natural pattern.

The tassel fern is a rare and coveted fern. It makes a great plant for a hanging basket and is suited well for a greenhouse.
Tree ferns, which grow in the tropics, are very cool! They are as big as trees and have a woody-like stem. Their leaves fan out over top as you walk through the forest.
