There are three types of forests: tropical, temperate, and boreal (a.k.a. taiga). Tropical forests have an average of 20˚C to 25˚C throughout the year. Temperate forests have temperatures ranging from -30˚C to 30˚C. Boreal forests have the largest range, going from -54˚C to 21˚C.
