What is a convection wave?

A convection wave is a wave of heat through fluids. It is the same principle as a sound wave, but with heat/energy moving through the fluid being transferred from one surface to another. This happens in toasters for example. The heating element convects through the surrounding air, onto your bread thus heating it.
