Coniferous trees keep their leaves and decompose the other old leaves. The leaves are dropped and stem from a new developed leaves. They are small bushes and 100 meter high like redwood trees. The trees are one of the oldest trees and live in the coldest region. They are found in the South of Artic tundra and adapt to harsh northern climates. Some of them have long pointy needles like leaves. Most of the seeds are from their cones. The needles have a coating that reduce moistures in cold weathers. In a way they look like christmad trees.
