what color makes oil fluoresce

Fluorescence is defined as the emission of light by a substance that has abosorbed light of a different wavelength.  Different substances, such as oil or gems, fluoresce different colors.  Crude, heavy oil fluoresces as brown.  The lighter the oil, the lighter the color.  I don’t typically like to use wikipedia but their page on fluorescence is very informative.
