Tasmanian Devils used to be abundant in all of Australia, but now are endemic to the south Australian Island of Tasmania. Their range spans the entire island, which has a cool temperate climate which transitions through four seasons. It generally never gets hotter than 70 degrees F or lower than 39 degrees F, but rain can vary depending on the region of the island. There exists several different biomes including forest, coastal scrublands, rainforest, and desert. Most Tasmanian devils seem to prefer the forest and scrubland.
