From raw materials to longevity, which energy source uses the most renewable sources?
The cleanest energy source is the sun. From raw materials (mass) to longevity (perhaps 10 billion more years), it is the cleanest. Even how we harness it can use less materials than other sources of renewable energy. For instance, when being used for producing your home’s hot water, basically, the sun hits tubes (usually dark metal) filled with water which heats up and is transferred to an insulated storage tank. On the large-scale, to produce electricity, liquid in tubes can be heated to over 700 degrees, which is used to turn water to steam and turn a turbine, that’s just one way.
