Employed men in high income groups produce the most carbon emissions per capita. Those who earn as much as 4 times as much as people in the lower class produce 4 times as much carbon dioxide.
I would guess wealthy individuals with private jets. They don’t always fly their jets to capacity, and these jets use a lot of fuel, producing a lot of CO2 emissions.
Wealthy people also engage in more entertainment activities, like water sports, etc. This is not to say there are not wealthy people who are conscious and make efforts to reduce their carbon footprint, but stereotypially that class generates the most carbon.
