What cities have the most waste powered vehicles?

I’m not sure which city has the most, but California is probably the state with the most waste-powered vehicles. Waste Management inc. uses 500 trucks powered by natural gas made from trash to pick up trash in several California cities.

There is a lot of experimentation with waste-powered cars going on. The first paper waste-powered cars made their debut at the Washington Auto Show in January 2010. A partnership of two companies, Novozymes, and Fiberlight, converted a Chevrolet HHR and a Ford F150 to run on fuel made from paper waste.
