What causes salmonella?

    Salmonella poisoning is caused by the bacteria salmonella.  It is found in poultry, eggs, unprocessed milk and in meat and water.  When in your body it attacks the stomach and intestines.  It bad cases it can spread to the lymph nods where it can be transmitted to the blood and throughout the body.
