What causes the latest oil rig in the gulf of mexico?

    The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is due to a sinking oil rig after an explosion occured on board. The explosion itself is still under investigation. Oil is leaking from two places and is estimated to be leeking 1000 barrels a day of oil into the ocean.
