A carbon sink is a natural or manmade reservoir that accumulates and stores some carbon-containing chemical compound for an indefinite period.
Carbon sinks can be understood as the natural tendency plants, trees and soils have to absorb more carbon than they need to survive thus decreasing the supply other organisms need to survive.
With our increased carbon levels can trees ever absorb Too much carbon for other plants to survive?
