What is the carbon footprint of the US military?

The United State’s military is the world’s largest user of oil, with a budget of $20 billion going towards energy costs. This has resulted in a carbon footprint of almost 75 million tons of CO2, as of 2008. Although this will shrink and rise depending on how many wars we ar einvolved in, it is safe to say that so long as we are involved in an active conflict, the united states military will continue to overshadow most of the world.

    I hope this helped!
