What is the carbon footprint of the DOE?

Not as low as it could be! In 2009, the DOE failed its own citeria during an energy audit. It is estimated that they could save as much as $1.5 million dollars a year just by following their own guidelines, which is distressing when you consider that they represent the people policing our energy use for the country. Their own carbon footprint may be as high as 48,000 tons, just for computer use alone, due to wasteful power standards. For mor einformation, pelase follow the attached links.

    I hope this helped!
